Community Guidelines

These rules keep the Service safe and enjoyable. They apply to characters, personas, chats, comments, reviews and anything else you post. Breaking them can lead to content removal, restrictions or a closed account.

Adults only

The Service is for people aged 18 and over. Do not use it if you are under 18, and do not help anyone who is.

Keep it safe for work

• No sexual or pornographic content, in text or images.
• No graphic violence or gore, and no content that glorifies self-harm or suicide.
• Dark themes in fiction are fine when handled without graphic detail. Mature stories carry a content note.

Never allowed

• Any sexual or exploitative content involving a minor, or a character that is a minor in a sexual context. This is reported to the authorities.
• Sexual content about a real person, and characters made to impersonate a real person in a way that deceives or harms them.
• Content that promotes terrorism, human trafficking, or other serious crime.
• Instructions for weapons, self-harm or serious harm to others.

Respect other people

• No harassment, bullying, threats or hate towards people because of who they are.
• No doxxing: do not share anyone's private information.
• No spam, scams, or attempts to trick people into paying or sharing their details.

Respect intellectual property

Only publish characters, images and text you have the right to use. Characters based on existing works must be clearly your own take and not pass as the original. If you think your work was copied, tell us through the Contact page and we will review it.

Be honest about what characters are

Characters are AI. Do not present a character as a real person or as a licensed professional, and do not rely on one for medical, legal or financial decisions.

Keep the Service working

Do not probe or attack the Service, use it to get around its limits, or resell access to it.

What happens when a rule is broken

• Content is screened automatically and may be hidden or removed.
• Reports are reviewed by people. You can report a character, a comment or a message from the Report option next to it.
• Depending on how serious and how repeated it is, we may warn you, restrict features, suspend or close your account.
• If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal and a different person reviews the decision.
